My book about navigating moving house with neurodivergence in your household is being published by the end of June

When I bought a house with my partner 2 years ago, my ADHD coach said to me that "for a neurodivergent person, moving house is a full time job"... and this book was born from that conversation.

If you or anyone in your household are neurodivergent and you are either contemplating moving house, in the middle of it, or adjusting after a move, then this book is for you.

Whether you’re renting or buying, upscaling or downscaling, combining households or splitting them up, this book includes lived experience of different family dynamics. It provides practical tips and support, to approach moving with a mindset that will get you through the experience and successfully out the other side - perhaps not completely unscathed… but feeling much more confident and capable than you may be feeling now.

The eBook is available to pre-order now, and the paperback will be available on 30th June.

If you are in the UK, and would like to pre-order a signed paperback copy of my book, which I will post out to you as close as possible to 30th June, please head to the link below.

  • Part One: My Moving Story and The 'Coachy' Bits

From initially broaching the subject of moving through to adjusting to life in a new house, and every stage in between. I talk about my experience of moving house in 2024 and provide insights to help you understand why moving house is more challenging with neurodivergence, and practical tools and guidance to help you approach (or recover from) a house move more easily.

  • Part Two: My Experience of house moves prior to diagnosis

I have moved house 15 times in my life, and in this chapter I talk about my experiences of moving before I knew about my neurodivergence. I also summarise how I've been able to unpick, understand and reframe these experiences now that I have the awareness about how my AuDHD impacts me.

  • Part Three: Other Stories Of Moving

13 personal stories from other neurodivergent families, to provide a deeper perspective than just my own. The stories in this part of the book cover all sorts; from moving in with in-laws, to families separating, solo parenting, moving as a military household and more.
